Chinese Domination...

As i strolled along the world largest floating stadium on national day, i saw an unfamiliar sight, the streets filled with foreigner, mostly mainland Chinese and Indians. All waving the flag enthusiastically, some had the flag stuck to their hair. This sight scares me; it meant lesser jobs and sort of instability created. I was also wondering, where are all the Singaporeans? I dreamt of the future as shops filled with Chinese goods, all pamphlets printed in Chinese, physics taught in Chinese world wide, English no longer the international language. Now it boils to another thing, China's dominance, a song from the Taiwanese band S.H.E, has a song ZHONG GUO HUA, or china's say(translated). It talks about the world embracing China, "listening" to it. I am not trying to say the Rise of China is bad, but, it might have adverse effects on the environment, and possibly the rest of the world. I dread to see, as i forced my self to accept the fact that dollar is falling. I watched in awe as day after day, the dollar dropped. Embracing china isn't bad after all, we get cheap goods, all stamped with the label "Made In China". But have we thought about our environment? More key players in the market meant more pollution as companies in both china and America try to out beat one another in producing cheap and reliable goods.Yes, we get cheap and cheaper goods, but you will see your house flooded with water, and the problem is you do not notice it. MADE IN CHINA-- may be the most scariest sign in the future(and common)
